Injured MotoGP stars Dani Pedrosa and John Hopkins both opted to sit out Sunday's wet 'qualifying' session at Jerez - and will only return to action on Monday if the weather improves.

Kawasaki's John Hopkins may have made his return from injury during day one of the Jerez test but, like Dani Pedrosa, he was far from fully fit and may be forced to call an early halt to his testing activities to ensure a speedy recovery.
