It was the Texaco on Edmonston and Rockville pike.....just north of the taco bell. The sign on the corner says something like $3.89 but i guess they set it wrong on the pump. So lots of people got hooked up last night. I'm sure they figured it out by now. Wouldnt be surprised if they're out of 89 this morning haha

I would have gone directly to walmart or an auto parts store and bought a couple of gas cans.

    But that's just my opinion.

i was just poking fun.  they have systems in place to prevent this.   it was an error on the attendant.  now gas attendant's wages are being stripped because of the error.  how is this person going to eat. lol...

at first take, I agree with you.  But shouldn't there be consequence to such an erroneous action by a attendant?  What incentive would anyone have to pay attention to wtf they are doing in life if there was no adverse side effect to being a dipshit.  Let's just call it a business 'risk'.

Anyone who paid with CC will be charged full price. this isnt the first time this has happened, only those who paid in cash will be able to get away with 2.14 gas.

Can they legally do that?  Mistake or not, I don't think they can charge your account differently than what the receipt says Huh?

it's called fiduciary duties.  if the owner really wanted to be a stickler they could make who ever made the mistake liable.
