    Installing Spike Bar ends...... The stock bar ends wont even come off to install the new ones.........

    Anyone ever had this issue..........

    Any suggestions.........

    I suggest you not install something that might facilitate impaleming you on your bike, especially when get-offs on motorcycles are an eventuality. Just a suggestion.

    i HAD them.  make sure you use loctite when you put them on!  one of mine fell off Sad and im back to stock till my new ones come in.  

     

    i didnt have a prob gettin my bar ends off though.  take the center screw out and it should come off.

     Have you ever seen bar ends off on a bike and seen the design?


    While turning figure # 5 figure # 8 is most likely turning as well. Figure # 7 is a rubber grommet that when compressed it will tightened up inside. Try getting 1/4 drive extension with the appropriate socket to hold figure # 8 while turning Figure # 5.

    If that doesn't work, yank that biatch out while wigging it up and down and side to side.
