Official Info Mountain Bike Ride 8-9

    Day: Tomorrow, Saturday August 9th

Meet Time:  0900 at the BOJANGLES off of rt 301
              7571 SE Crain Highway
              Upper Marlboro, MD 20772\

*If you're usually late (like me), the meet time is 0830

    Ride Place: Rosaryville State Park
              8714 Rosaryville Road
              Upper Marlboro MD 20772

I've never been here, nor have I gone mountain bike riding in a LONG time....  but I've heard it's a good moderate-difficult trail
We will take it slow, and just enjoy the ride.  Looking to be done before 1400 (2pm).

    A Few Friendly Reminders:

    * Dress accordingly-- Weather looks AMAZING for tomorrow.
70 degrees at 9am -- 78 degrees at 2pm with partly cloudy skies
    * Bring plenty of water-- Hydration is good
    * Bring a helmet-- I'm not sure if it's required or not... but just bring one in case
    * Bring a couple bucks cash for park entrance fee-- $3/vehicle; $4/vehicle out-of-state residents

If anyone needs my cell phone number, PM me.

    From the Rosaryville State Park

    • Perimeter Trail 7.5 miles - moderate to difficult

This trail circumnavigates the park, providing hikers, cyclists and horseback riders with a tight, twisty, single-track route. The trail passes primarily through the woods, providing plenty of shade during hot summer months. The western section of this trail is mainly easy to moderate in difficulty. The trail in the eastern section has moderate to difficult terrain with more technical sections and frequent short hills that provide challenging climbs.
