    Viva La Vida- Coldplay

So I've been a fan of Coldplay for a minute.  Not on some hardcore "greatest band ever" shyt, but they do have some good songs out, solid tracks overall.  That being said, I'm enjoying parts of this album.  Released in mid-June, I *think* there was a different producer for this album (maybe one who worked with U2, IIRC?).  So, naturally, there are some different sounds on this one, but I can almost pick out other artists where I've heard something similar.  Not a bad album by any stretch, but I'm not sure that it's a "must have" either.  Two favorite tracks are Cemeteries of London and Violet Hill...both hauntingly beautiful.

I like Coldplay, but in a casual kind of way.  I hear that their show here this weekend is sold out.

Junipter Lane is going to open for them.  I have seen this band perform before and I have talked to them... the drummer has played soccer with me.  They are pretty good.  They have a girl singer.  They have a video of them here http://www.coldplayontour.com/wwdc/   They are going to be on dc101 tomorrow morning.

If anyone is going to the show, it would be nice to hear about it.
