Shiiiiiiiiitt...  the races avg 6-11 entrants so basically half the class went bye bye, huh, since top 5 get bumped up, right?  V-twins don't grow on trees so I imagine the grid will be relatively small, maybe 5-15 riders?!?  We'll see...

I'm in for the Heavyweight Twins Superstock & Heavyweight Twins Superbike Expert races on Sunday, but I won't be on my 998 this weekend...I'll be on a borrowed SV650.  The 998 won't make its debut until next month.  We'll see if I can match my last season's times with the SVEmail

Cannon running the Heavyweight Twins classes...this I've got to see.  Check out the Aprillia discussion board if you want to get to know your competition in the classWink  The Connell's may give you a run for your money.

We are a pretty close-nit bunch.  We hang out in the "Club Racing" Section http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46  Half of us have gone expert and half have stayed novice.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch...after winning at VIR last season I thought the championship was going to be easy.  I had a rude awakening at Summit and the remaining race weekends.  You can almost always count on a "local ringer" from track to track and that one rider that couldn't make it to the first race of the year.

    What happened?

Sheesh, I am ready, the bike's ready, everything except that phuckin weather. Crying

So, it looks like the old man is punking out on this one. And I want to go bad too.

I can understand you peeps who haven't got your jollies off this year at a track and really need a fix.  That craving for a ride on the track, IMO, is like no other. Smile

However, I have been blessed to have been to the track 4 times this year, twice in Jan, and twice in Feb. I had my fix, and although my craving is bad, it is not that bad. And I was all primed to pop all three days too.

Well, I can't win them all..

You gotta Vtwin??Yes Man, nobody has been keeping me up to date...Or if they did, my senile old mind forgot it!! Sheesh, at your level, you might be a shoe in for some wood, unless my good buddy Moneyshot is down there!!
