first, i like to say thank you to all mf's who helped me out: shinysheckle for roadside assistance, le guano for room to crash in, apriliamango for energy drink for the last session, armageddondildo for hands in remove & replace forks, um um um, c3po and captain obvious for vittles and atm run, jennthebaker (who cooks on track too) for grizzled cheeze and my first taste of cookie bars (mmmmmmmmmmmm), and all mf's who had to hear me vent on saturday, and uh, ben franklin and all his twin brothers for sponsoring my many needs, God for keeping me on 2 as i ice skated through the corners and sand excursions, and anyone else i am forgetting at this second. all your helps very much appreciated.
and yes,
this is the shortened version.
sunday:
i have head wedged up ass. sideways maybe. i was supposed to go out in intro group to learn the lines around the track. nope, somehow i go out in advanced with mf's smashing afterburners around me as i try and finger out where the next turn leads.

omg, i was scurred.

so i twist wrist and just pray for the best. as i am getting familiar, i'm rolling it on more & more but something just doesn't feel right. i can't put a finger on it exactly. i made lots of little changes all at once before this day, so i am questioning myself about them.
about 2/3 through the session, the rear jumped out in T11 and caught my attention. i've never had this happen before, and i didn't feel like i was pushing it that hard. wtf??? i just cannot tighten my line up at all without slipping. so i keep riding, thinking my suspension needs adjusted. the front is barely pushing through T1 on a few laps. as i keep slowly getting faster, the rear is jumping out on other tight corners too.

i am baffled.
so after 2 sessions (and 2 off track excursions) i decide to get my suspension adjusted. i had a feeling suspension would not solve my problem, but it needed adjustment anyways (actually a full rebuild) so i fingered it would at least help. he says i maybe miss one afternoon session. ok, cool. i end up giving my forks to gmd computrack for the mega mother rebuild. (hooters suspension??? their food kinda sucks, so i figured their suspension couldn't be that much better lol)
anyfunk, i linger around and peep at what gmd dude is doing to the forks. i'm interested to see all the marbles and crap in there, ya know. meanwhile 52,958,435 hot bammas keep on stopping in buggin my man and snatching his attention. i'm being patient. i missed one session before lunch and expect to miss the first one after lunch. well, another session goes by, and yet another...
by the time it's all said and done, i have one session left. i go up to him and asked him to adjust them now that they are on the bike. he bounces the front a bit, makes a click or 2, and gets called away. i wait and get fed up and go talk to friends pitted 15 feet away. everything this guy does, takes f'ing 20 minutes to do becaw he gets distracted by 4 more mf's. motherfaucker, i'm paying you sex houndred gaddam clams!!!!!! faucking fix the faucking bike you faucking fauck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

53,763 angry faces do not convey how frustrated i was with this guy.

ok, i calm down now.
so i ride the last session of the day (my 3rd session) and the rear still slips out some. i'm so saunatized at this point, i'm riding like a punani and my tears are fogging the helmet.

i get to dice it up with c3po and ralph a bit and i get it on tape. i still couldn't roll it on like i wanted and was running wide. i went off in T11 infront of ralph.

really, i was just glad i didn't make any corn rows in the sand with my rearsets.

looking at my alptimer, it said i did a 1:30 on my first sesson out and a 1:29 on the second session. maybe the mf is working in kilometers or something, becaw i don't think there's any way i went that fast.

what a wash of a day. i was sooo bummed.
monday:
i was not paid for monday, so i didn't have anything to lose by not riding on the wet track. but going to florida to ride 3 shiznitty sessions is not my idea of a good weekend. so i sign up for intermediate. i go back, suit up, check tire pressure to drop it o 29 f / 28.5r and what do i see? i was riding all day sunday at 35 psi!!!!

no wonder i was riding like ky was my friggin sponsor, sheeeaaat!!! remember when i said i had head up bum sideways? yeah, here's the proof.

f'ing stipid

ok, stop laughing, mf's.

i know you is.

so i roll out feeling a bit better that i discovered the major malfunction of yesterday, but still unsure of how the day will go. as the laps turn, the track gets drier. i'm gaining some faith in my bike and riding again, but very slowly. and this is weird, becaw i never had had to do this before.
dcs peeps are watching and slowly getting the itch to ride. (jtb and 'dillo were prolly the first to gun it out there in the am

) so as the sessions go by, more and more dcs fools are coming out and having fun. i was starting to hit higher gears and become more consistant as things progressed.

i got to watch a few peeps and give them some feedback. hopefully, that helped them some.

but for the most part, everyone looked pretty good if not great out there.
i wish i had mounted the camera on the bike earlier in the day. i put it on during lunch, but it started raining, so i had to take it back off when i was supposed to be going out. wouldn't you know, it stopped raining 2 minutes later.

oh well. i was having much more fun, so it didn't really bother me. actually, i was amazed they let me run the megastructure on the back of the r6 on the track! lol

there was some stabbin goin on, oh yes. my favorite was entering T1 right behind gaytop and and holding 2.461 mph advantage on him as i pass him on the outside and tighten up after i got in front of him.

cerial though, i love being full lean and watchin as i go by with my head as high as the other guy's boot in a long long turn.

T1 front wheel slides were very predictable, so i felt comfy rolling in there hard.

at one point, i was feeling like things were really starting to come together. but then, as i was downshifting from 5th coming into T3 & T4, i hit a false neutral when i shoulda hit 4th. off i went pushing triple digits like a damn sand buggy on crack towards the tree line!!!

the bike was straight up & down, so i grabbed front brake and kept applying it harder. finall, it dug and threw a hard headshake. so i realeased and repeated, as it scrub off lots of speed and i was running out of area fast.

decided to try rear brake, and boy, i don't know what's scarier, head shake or seeing your tail try and pass you on the outside. lol

i ended up slowing to about 15 and banking off the sand burm before coming to a complete stop. swallow them balls back down, thank the man upstairs, make sure 1st gear still works, track is clear, and awaaay we go!

it's too bad they took down the transmitter around lunch time. many people wanted to see their lap times for the afternoon. i followed jamescbr around the track a few times on the last hour of open track, and i must say the man was flying!

my guess was he was doing low 1:30's in damp to dry conditions.

simply awesome.
i never felt completely comfortable anywhere on the track except for T1. everywhere else, i was still a bit sketchy from all the unpredictable sliding i did. we rode thru session and had a good time.
i talked to the gmd computech guy some more. he's either really really
good at what he does and doesn't need to adjust the forks, set sag,
or ask my weight once they are back on the bike from being worked on,
or he's a good bs'er. i dunno.
i will be back to get my revenge on jenny. but not for another year or so. like a durty ho, she took me for all i was worth, and then some. lol
vids will come at some point. i still have a hard time with this complicated steven spielberg type movie maker thing.

i'll get something done this week.

and if you read this whole damn thing, welcome to tomorrow.
