Hotel suggestions for an evening getaway with the lady

Anyone have any?  In the northern VA area.  not lookin for a bed n breakfast type deal.. . more of like a larger chain type hotel, somewhere clean, maybe a little plush, newly remodeled.   this is no honeymoon..  just wanna get outta the house, away from the norm..spend a nice quiet night with the girlfriend.   knowhatimsayin?

i heard the summerfield suites and embassy suites are kinda nice.

go on hotwire.com and book the same day as the planned date...make sure you pay attention to the location cuz u have to pick an area and they assign you the actual hotel.  you won't know the name until you book...but as long as the star rating is right you'll be ok...3.5 and above will get you a PLUSH place.  3 star will be your average Holiday Inn-type deal.

should run you 65-100/night...and if you pick 4 star you'll get some super nice digs.

    works every time for me.

FYI  hotwire's 3.5 star supliers are HIlton and Crowne Plaza...

    4 star is Hyatt

personally, i can't really tell the diff between the two.
