    Crash Sequence - WERA - 10 AUG 08 - AM#800 & AM#176

If you're gonna crash ... well, ya might as well get it on film ...

Ok. These are two of the toughest dudes I've ever seen ... AM#800 & AM#176.

The ripped up pavement in Turn 1 of Summit Point Main Course played a part in this crash. It was pretty dramatic. I thought sure there were some serious injuries. They both shook hands in the end as they left back for the paddock.

I have a feeling they are both hurt a bit. Hope they really are "all good" and no trips to the doctor are required. God bless, y'all ... that was pretty hairy.

I think you can hold the surface directly responsible for that one, no way I am racing at Summit until that shyt is taken care of. Angry

I slowed the video down another 30% in this clip.

You can clearly see the adverse impact of the bumps on the front tire. It comes off the ground several times.

The rear tire is doing the same.

This video needs to sent over to Summit Main officials and explained to them to repair that damn rumble strip on that turn. No His suspension was not tight enough and ofcourse the front end bounced out of place.

Reminds me of Jennings. Confused where it cost me $2k+ to get my bonk back in shape. No

Glad they ok, good crash when you can walk away from it. Yes

YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS A TIME IN LIFE WHEN YOU COME ACROSS SOMEONE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE FACKED WITH??? WELL, THAT'S ME!

On July 3 the track was rough enough, but from the way u guys are talking it must have gotten worst! Last month the bumps were so bad in Turn 1, it was worst then riding on New york Ave., by the Washington Post headquarters!! The fisrt session around scared the sheeet out of me , with e bumps and the shiny sealant on the ground!!!!!No

I am surprised that Drew did not get hurt more seriously since it looks like his bike is pushing him and the other bike hits him.

Pat, you did a nice job of catching that on film.  The slow motion video shows exactly why it happened.  I hope they fix the track soon.
