I love that track. Damn it's fast as balls. Seems like the event sold out quick. But for $125 vs most orgs $180 I can see why. A couple of shouts.

Sara..that last session your true gangsta started to show.

Kimmy... smooth, and quick though the corners. Nice farms!!!

James. Best riding I've ever seen you do. You were killing them through the bowl.

Dan get of that zuke....I'm sure you'll fair better.....hows the video coming?

JTB.....that motard stuffs in your head. But that last session the old JTB came out. You were killin them in T1.

Gregg...shound have bought a four banger dude.

All the rest of the .com crew. Looking good...keep up the good work

In my "I'm not at the track" depression I sent a few folks text messages asking how the day went. The first three replies I got were, "Awesome", "Awesome" and "F#cking Awesome".

That's funny cause I got asked how it was and I responded ..... "it was awesome!"

I suppose I'll throw up a report here in a little bit...

DANG! Lightning sounds friggin' awesome. And how far away is it? 3 hours? Less? What about the safety people were talking about with the wall? Man, I can't wait to see how frickin' awesome Thunderbolt is if Lightning is so good. Anymore NESBA dates to Lightning?

And I responded "F#uckin Awesome"  haha

Man, what an awesome time.  I've been needing that for a long time.  It felt so good to be back out there.

The track is unbelievable... not a bump on it and the layout is amazing.  Definitely a favorite up and down the east coast.  Lenny even came up to me and said, "We have our own Barber now."  Can't wait to go back.

I got a ton of new video from a bunch of different angles so I'll put something together today.

It was awesome seeing alot of old faces out there and hopefully we'll get to do it again soon.

And a HUGE thanks to dillo for hookin a brother up with a set of Supercorsa Pro's... it was nice to not have to even think about the tires all day.

Wow, I had some serious fun!.

Dan's right, there's not a flaw in the pavement anywhere, no transitions, bumps, holes, it's just nice.

I'd pick this track over Main any day, the layout is smooth and fast. I'm worn out today.

Got back in after the first session and pull up with Morph.

    Morph: "You break too much"

    Me: "Yea, no kidding"

After I picked up some confidence I found out exactly what he was talking about and that bowl is endless.

Kim, glad you had fun even though you had the wheel troubles.

It was nice to meet a bunch of new folks as well. JTB, Dillo, and Dorito you guys were great to chase as usual. Kawlreaper it was awesome playing cat and mouse with you.

Had a great time out there yesterday, and like Morph and couple of others have said........  THE LIGHTENING IS CRAZY FAST.

The Lightening has a little bit everything there, 2 blind turns, sweepening turn, decreasing radius turn, long straight for the ballers. Its a great technical course (which is what "I" really need), but yet still a fast & fun course. I do not know when Nesba will be back there again, but i see that Absolute Cycle will be on the Lightening on 9/1.....  So i'm already trying to back out there already and i just secured spot with Nesba for the Thunderbolt.

As always, I enjoyed the company and look forward to seeing all of you cool kids out there again soon.

The only real surprise for me was the tolls.............Angry

Too bad there's none planned right now. Hoping Thunderbolt is as awesome!

So, Morph, you back in there at the NESBA office saying, "I think we need more Lightning dates?"

At just over 2.5 hours away, it's a nice option for a crumbling Main. Hopefully, it''ll kick the owners of Summit to get their act together.

I'm officially not allowed to comment on proposed dates. But I would keep my eyes open if I were you. Also if you want more dates. Goto the Nesba board and ask for them. Feedback is always welcomed.

I quess it all depends on how you weigh a trackday.  if you weigh it by top speed, you are correct, my 700cc bike toped out at 115.  I weigh it by fun and quickness.  if you want to ban my motard from that track you should also ban the SV 650s.  my bike weighs 50 pounds less than an SV and makes 5 or more horsepower more.  I had no touble passing just about anyone on the outside of the fishbowl, and outbraking 4 bikes at a time going into 1 and 7.  for me the fun is in the corners, otherwise i'd go hang out with Shiphtee at the dragway.   It was a blast riding with everyone yesterday, glad to see some old faces and meeting a few new ones.  can't wait to get back there before the cars chew it up.

    +1

    Multiple times.... see video. Lightning

I got no problem admitting it.... it's hard as fack to dive into that carousel at over 100mph with the wall in the corner of your eye. I was getting destroyed in the morning in that corner.
